Tobuyabusiness.co.uk was set up by Sean Moriarty and Gregg Pendlington as a means of answering many of the questions they encounter in their day-to-day activities.

With over 50 years experience between themselves and their colleagues, they are specialists in the area of management-buy-outs and have helped many MBO teams purchase the business they are working in.

The team has personal experience in major accountancy firms such PwC and BDO and since 2005 they have completed over 40 transactions and have worked in a variety of sectors including health care, education, environmental, telecoms, leisure and catering.

Some example MBO's have been DC Group, Crystal Windows, Paragon Training, Selectequip and Sypol and these have included both bank funded MBO's and Private Equity deals. Finance partners have included amongst others RBS/NatWest, Barclays, Lloyds TSB, HSBC, Co-op bank, Yorkshire Bank, Sovereign Capital Partners and Zeus Capital.
